CS-OZEMPIC-04 · Three Brand Names, One Molecule: Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus
The fact that unsettles people, when they first hear it, is that Ozempic and Wegovy are the same drug. Not similar drugs. Not cousins from the same chemical family. The same molecule — semaglutide — drawn from the same chemistry, doing the same thing in the same body, sold under two names. Add a third, Rybelsus, and the picture is complete: one peptide, three brands, marketed at different doses, by different routes, for different diseases, to different people who in many cases have no idea they are taking the thing their neighbor is taking (CS-OZEMPIC-01).
